About StadiumsAround
StadiumsAround is a guide to going to the match. Club websites tell you the capacity and fact databases tell you when a stand was built. We answer what a travelling fan needs to know: where to sit, where the away end is, which station to use, whether you can do a tour, and how tickets actually get sold.
Who writes StadiumsAround
StadiumsAround is written and edited by Leo Nagano, its founder. Every guide is researched from club, venue and transport-operator sources, then fact-checked before it is published, and each page names the sources it was checked against. Guides for the 2027 Women's World Cup host cities are being written from visits to each city.
Where the facts come from
- Capacity, opening year, coordinates and alternative names come from Wikidata (CC0). Capacities are cross-checked against each club for the 2026–27 season.
- Transport, tour and ticketing details are read from clubs, venues and transport operators, then rewritten in our words.
- Photos are our own or come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences, credited on each page. We never use club or press photos.
- Map outlines are from Natural Earth (public domain).
How guides are written and checked
Guides start from the facts above, may be drafted with AI help, and are then edited and fact-checked by hand before they go live. Every page shows a “last checked” date. We re-check every ground at the start of each season, when stands are renamed, capacities change and clubs move between leagues. Pages without a finished guide are marked and kept out of search results until they're ready.

How we make money
Some links to hotels, tours and train tickets are affiliate links. If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Ticket sections always point to the club's official channels first, because reselling football tickets without permission is illegal in England and Wales. We don't take money from betting companies.
